There are a few additional points to make to make your appointment run smoothly. Free parking is available on the nearby residential streets outside of the building. The entrance to the clinic is on Thrift Street, where you will see a black door at the side of the EastCoast Kickboxing Academy. If the door is locked, do not worry; I will meet you at your allocated slot.
In preparation for your appointment, please wear something comfortable, shorts, t-shirts, vest and or sports bra. Other than that, you will be good to go, and I look forward to seeing you.
Best wishes
Michelle

I’m Michelle, an exercise rehabilitation and soft tissue therapist with a passion for helping clients move better, feel stronger, and build confidence in their body. I support clients with musculoskeletal pain, sporting and non-sporting injuries, chronic and acute muscle tension, reduced flexibility, muscle dysfunction, strength, rehabilitation, and overall wellbeing. My approach combines hands-on soft tissue treatment with exercise-based rehabilitation, using evidence-based practice to support my clinical reasoning, treatment choices, and rehabilitation planning. I have a particular interest in running-related injuries and work with recreational, competitive and elite runners. As a masters runner myself, with experience in half marathon and marathon distances, I understand the demands of training, the frustration of injury, and the importance of returning to running safely and confidently. I also work with clients recovering from surgery, including total knee and hip replacements, as well as those wanting to improve their strength, mobility, and confidence for everyday activities. Treatments may include advanced soft tissue techniques such as Muscle Energy Technique, Soft Tissue Release, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, percussive therapy, functional cupping, sports taping, dry needling/medical acupuncture, and advice on corrective exercises where appropriate.
